This post was originally written for “Blog4N.” Blog4NZ was a 3 day event highlighting New Zealand, and encouraging travellers to visit after the devastating Christchurch earthquake. I wrote a post in support, despite the fact I haven’t been to New Zealand yet. I also have a second post You can read my other post here.
I thought the cause was great and I wanted to support it…except I’ve never been to New Zealand. But I can tell you that I have always wanted to go there.
I know you might be thinking “yeah, but don’t you say that about every place?”
Well yeah, but I’ve wanted to go to New Zealand since I was a kid. When I was about seven or eight my aunt (who was a teenager at the time) had a pen pal who came to visit from New Zealand. I remember she brought my grandparents this coffee book with pictures from New Zealand. I’d flip through the photos and think “one day I’ll go there.”

I stand by that statement. According to the Air New Zealand website I could be there by morning. That’s a pretty convincing argument… and if my bank account agreed I’d board the next plane.
Until my then I thought I’d link some posts from bloggers who’ve actually been to/lived in New Zealand. They know what they’re talking about better than me saying “oooh pretty.” If you’re looking to go to New Zealand, or have even been considering it let these folks convince you.
